Our first post of the year and it just so happens to fall on the day first round university offers were announced. Today was such a momentous day for so many students, waiting in anticipation to receive news as to whether they have received offers for the course of their dreams.

Founded by Rochelle Courtenay, Share the Dignity is run entirely by volunteers! Truly an amazing effort!

For our VERY FIRST #FortunateFriday feature, we present to you - LeBron James. LeBron's foundation donated $41.8 million to help 1,100 students in his 'I Promise' program to provide them with the opportunity to go to college for free. He has partnered with the University of Akron to create a scholarship that will cover the tuition and the university's general service fees for the recipients of his scholarship.
