Sebastian is the Head Trainer in our Business faculty. He is a veteran of our organisation and is a valued member of our Dolph family. He is easily reachable via our eLearning platform, and via e-mail at: email@example.com. And if you are one of his students, you would also have his direct line!
Without Sebastian, Dolph Business School would not be where we are today. He is one of the most hardworking and reliable members of our Dolph family. He is always on the look out for the most advanced technologies and opportunities, always looking at innovative ways to help our students, and constantly interacting with the industry to ensure we are delivering relevant courses.
We did a short Q&A with Sebastian to find out more about him.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I collect trains. I am an avid train collector and have amassed quite a large collection of trains. I have always been fascinated with trains – their powerful engineering and their immaculate build.
And I like to say ‘tak habis-habis’ randomly. Something my old Manager used to say to me. To this day, I have no idea what it means, but I enjoy how it sounds.
What is the most recent addition to your train collection?
I was recently gifted an L1150 V/Line in orange/grey with a small stripe which came with R.G. Wishart nameplates.
What is your favourite part of your role?
Definitely the NOT the paperwork part of my role, but I do love the teaching aspect. I have been in various managerial roles across the last decade but have always somehow persuaded the organisations to give me some sort of training responsibility as well. All because I LOVE TRAINING PEOPLE.
What made you want to be part of the Dolph family?
Dolph Business School’s vision to provide quality, affordable courses really resonated with me. I feel that there are so many people in our society who wants to upskill themselves, who wants to do courses but the cost puts them out of reach. To me, being a part of Dolph Business School is not just a job, it also allows me to give back to society through education.
Why not? Without businesses, none of us would be employed. And the processes and how smooth a business runs has always fascinated me. I did a Bachelor of Business and now am completing a Master of Business Administration, not because I’m ‘tak habis-habis’, but because I believe that without this knowledge and the constant upskilling, I would be very out of touch with my role and the market in general. Those completing a business qualification, or a business course would know that without a particular skill set or knowledge, their organisation would not be able to function efficiently or competitively.
We are here for you!
The Dolph team is a proud group of like-minded individuals who care about our students' needs. We are passionate about teaching, and helping you create a better tomorrow for yourself, today.
