Application Checklist – International Students

 

Before completing the enrolment form, we recommend you have completed the following:

  • Read the International Student Prospectus
  • Read the International Student Handbook
  • Booked and sat for your English Language Proficiency Test – IELTS / TOEFL and you have the test results available
  • Investigate your Overseas Student Health Cover options and start narrowing down suitable options
  • Gotten a certified true copy of your passport
  • Gotten a certified true copy of your original visa document (if applicable)
  • Gotten a certified true copy(ies) of your academic qualifications (and English translations, if applicable)

 

After you have completed the enrolment form:

  • Remit the AUD$375 non-refundable application fee
  • Dolph Business School will request for you to complete a Core Skills Indicator test for us to ascertain your learning, literacy and numeracy skills
  • We will process your enrolment form and contact you to conduct an enrolment interview within 1-2 business days
  • If student meets all enrolment requirements and there is availability, Dolph Business School will issue your Letter of Offer and the Acceptance of Offer form including the invoice for Semester 1’s tuition fees
  • You should now organise for your Overseas Student Health Cover
  • Once you return the Acceptance of Offer form fully completed (together with the Overseas Student Health Cover documents) and have paid the fees for Semester 1, Dolph Business School will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment document to you
  • When you receive your Confirmation of Enrolment, you can now apply for your student visa
  • You may have to fulfil further requirements for your student visa which will be communicated to you by the licensed agent applying for the visa on your behalf, or by the Australian embassy or consulate staff processing your student visa application
  • Turnaround times for processing varies from country to country – it is best to consult with the Department of Immigration and Border Patrol staff to find out more
  • If your student visa is approved, you will now start to organise for accommodation and other arrangements to study and move to Australia
  • If your student visa is denied, you may be eligible for a refund of the fees you have paid – please refer to our Refunds policy in the International Student Handbook for further information
  • When you arrive in Australia, you will be greeted and met by a Dolph Business School representative at the airport to take you to your place of accommodation
